Pantheon - Italy

The Pantheon is a former Roman temple, now a church, in Rome, Italy. The former Roman temple was dedicated to all the gods of pagan Rome. Later the Byzantine emperor Phocas gave it to Pope Boniface the IV in A.D 608 and it was used as a church ever since.The Pantheon now contains the tombs of the famous artist Raphael and of several Italian Kings and poets.
