1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the backiee website and applications (collectively referred to as the "Services") operated by good2create.

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.

Throughout these Terms, users of the Services are referred to as "Users", whether accessing the Services as guests or registered account holders.

2. Availability of the Services

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict access to the Services, or any part of the Services, at any time without prior notice.

We may also suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for an extended period of time.

3. Eligibility

The Services are intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old.

If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to use the Services or create an account.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you use the Services and for any activity conducted through your account.

You agree not to upload, publish, or distribute content that:

  • violates applicable laws or regulations
  • infringes intellectual property rights
  • contains illegal, abusive, offensive, or harmful material
  • contains misleading or fraudulent information

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Generated Content

Ownership

Users retain ownership of the content they upload, including wallpapers, images, comments, and other materials ("User Content").

By uploading content to the Services, you confirm that:

  • You are the creator of the content or have all necessary rights to upload it.
  • Your content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions from any third parties appearing in the content.

License Granted to backiee

By uploading content to the Services, you grant backiee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote that content as part of operating and improving the Services.

This license allows us to display wallpapers on the website, applications, and official social media channels related to the Services.

This license terminates when you delete the content from the Services, except where copies remain in backups or cached systems for a limited period.

License Granted to Other Users

Users may download wallpapers from the Services for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated by the copyright owner.

Any commercial use requires permission from the original copyright holder.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you upload and any consequences resulting from that content.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, or quality of user-submitted content.

We reserve the right to remove any content at any time if it violates these Terms or is otherwise considered inappropriate.

6. Content Moderation

All wallpapers uploaded to the Services are subject to moderation before becoming publicly visible.

backiee actively reviews uploaded content before publication. Uploaded wallpapers may be screened using a combination of automated tools and manual moderation to detect potentially copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise restricted material.

Automated screening may include image recognition technologies, reverse image search tools, and other detection systems designed to identify copyrighted works, stock images, well-known characters, brands, and public figures.

Despite these efforts, unauthorized content may occasionally appear. If you believe that content available on the Services infringes your rights, please contact us and we will promptly review and remove the material if necessary.

Moderation may take approximately 24–48 hours, but this period may vary.

Uploaded content may have the following statuses:

  • Under Moderation – waiting for approval
  • Active – publicly visible and downloadable
  • Deactivated – hidden from public listings

Prohibited Content

Users may not upload content that includes:

  • Pornographic or adult material
  • Illegal or prohibited content
  • Violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
  • Content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
  • Content that promotes illegal activities

7. Intellectual Property

The backiee platform, including its design, software, branding, and functionality, is owned by good2create and protected by intellectual property laws.

Users may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or exploit any part of the Services without prior permission.

8. Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content available through the Services infringes your copyright, you may submit a formal request through our dedicated Copyright / DMCA / Takedown page.

Please provide complete and accurate information so we can review your request promptly.

We review valid copyright claims and remove infringing content when appropriate.

9. Purchases and Subscriptions (Windows)

The Windows version of the backiee application allows users to purchase subscriptions through third-party payment providers.

These providers may include:

  • Microsoft
  • Google
  • Apple
  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Számlázz.hu

Subscriptions purchased on one platform may be used across other supported platforms when using the same account.

If you experience issues with your subscription, you may request a refund within 60 days of purchase.

The Services are provided without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, good2create shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Services.

This includes damages resulting from user-generated content, service interruptions, data loss, or unauthorized access.

The Services may contain links to third-party services, including advertising networks, analytics providers, and payment providers.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third-party services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Hungary.

Any disputes arising from the use of the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes occur, the updated version will be published on this page with the revised update date.

Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
