Mount Changbaishan( Paektu Mountain) is located in Jilin Province, on the border between China and North Korea. It capped with snow all year round. Changbai Mountain is a dormant volcano. The famous Heavenly Lake is sited at the top of the main volcano peak cone. It is the largest crater lake in China, as well as the highest crater lake in the world. Tianchi Lake is 13 km in circumference but cannot be walked around as the far side is in North Korea.
